everyone bring somethin famous frm ur neighbourhood. haha.

cost we will split! serving for about 8 people! but dun buy too much! coz 8 servings frm each of us will amount to a HUMONGOUS amt of food. haha.

NTLG again!

trusty flowery oven gloves to do the job. haha.our soup base .. herbal chicken stock with loads of carrots, onions n the like .. was supposedly on the stove the whole AFTERNOON. tasted quite goood. TANG YUAN!!!!!!! =D
the foooood ... loads of chinese n eh english cabbage .. too much actually .. by the way, ALL THE FOOD was prepared by mr phoa zaihao, jason (real mr ho), ah LONG, and the fake mr ho (robin) .. waha .. zai rite?

omg this is so paiseh.. my colleague just came back from an australia trip and she bought coasters back for us as a souvenier.. she passed me 3 packs of the coasters and asked me to choose one.. and i happily took one whole pack of it (with about 8 coasters i think) and kept it in my bag.. after 2 hours she came to ask if i am done with choosing which one i want cos she needed to pass to other colleagues.. yuan lai i'm supposed to take only ONE of the coasters.. and i'm totally not shou with this colleague at all!! i'm gg to die of embarassment soon..

by the way.. in case u all din receive my sms.. this sat meet 630pm on the rooftop!

i'm posting this cos i'm falling asleep at my desk le.. angieee saturday if we gg shing shong remind me to buy coffee k..

heyyy i went to check out the prices of the masks today:

for the cortry eye masks, it's S$29 for 30 pairs; S$13.60 for 12 pairs.

for the cortry face masks, it's S$17.20 for 7 pieces; S$29.40 for 16 pieces. then hor..they got this offer pack for face masks..which includes 4 for whitening and 3 for tightening, altogether S$3 only (all 7 pieces). haha dun ask me why there's such a great price difference.

yy, your neutrogena masks are S$24 for 5 pieces.

heyyyyieeeeeee. went for my cousins solemnisation at the singapore art museum this afternoon. [i really can't appreciate art for nuts.]
but the pastor said something quite intriguing.. maybe you all got read before lah. but i sua gu first time hear mah. haha.
he said something about there being three kinds of love. the following i copied and pasted lah. but its more or less the same.

the "if" kind of love
The "IF kind of love" says, "I will love you IF you do things my way, IF you give me gifts, IF you become a good provider, IF you get a good report card at school." It is a conditional love based upon future expectations. If these conditions are not met, then like a legal contract, love is broken. This is a selfish love because it is solely based upon future expectations. It is love that must be earned. Most marriages fail because they are based upon this conditional love. Children are often heard saying, "I will be your friend" IF you let me play with your new toy; till then I hate you. Thus the IF kind of love is a fickle unstable love. This is the childish love we are all born with. It is a worldly love of natural instincts. We need to mature out of the IF kind of love!

The "because of" kind of love says, "I will love you BECAUSE you are now young and beautiful, BECAUSE I now desire you, BECAUSE you are now popular, BECAUSE you are now in good health or wealthy, BECAUSE I feel good when I am with you." This kind of love is common among teenagers because it is solely based upon the others current status. The BECAUSE OF kind of love is also doomed to failure in marriage. When someone proclaims, "I have fallen out of love" they have fallen out of the "because of" kind of love, not true love. This kind of love is not in tune with reality when it demands that things stay the same in an ever changing world. Like the If kind of love, it is unstable and fickle. It is full of doubts and fears for what tomorrow might bring.

true love:
True love is the "in spite of kind of love". It says, "I love you IN SPITE OF your faults, IN SPITE OF being fat and ugly, IN SPITE OF the times you are selfish and inconsiderate, IN SPITE OF when you sin against me," True love is unconditional. It is a love we don't naturally possess but must learn. It is an enduring love that doesn't even keep a score card. It will always be there tomorrow regardless of what we have done today. This is the kind of love that 50th "golden" anniversaries are made of.
