Chinese New Year is Coming!!!!

And in traditional DTC fashion, of course we had to do up the short wing!!!

Check out the damn big ong lai!! It's Angie's favourite! It says 大旺! Now we got to all siam to one side when entering da tou cun. And that's Yiyu eating chestnuts, Angie eating dried squid, Huiyu drinking her soursop juice, and Songyun peering at the packaging for the spicy dried squid.


We have these strings of auspicious Chinese characters and it also acts as a limbo rock practising ground -- thanks to those who have kindly placed one particular string at waist level. This string says 旺 again. I think 旺 is Angie's favourite word this CNY. And here Songyun demonstrates how we can 练腰力everyday.


Doesnt the lift look jolly? All thanks to 20cents wrapping paper. It was so exciting putting these up. You have to paste and align them nicely, then quickly slit them in the middle before anyone opens the lift doors on the 4th floor and tear the paper! haha.

And in case you haven't noticed, there's a huge mudan hua at the top of the lift. Huiyu says it looks like a shower head.

Doesn't DTC just look super festive? And the chair is our lost and found corner. haha. On it lies a masking tape to whom it belongs is still a mystery.
